Enjoy Bavaria's capital, rich in culture and tradition, and experience the world-famous Passion Play in Oberammergau
Visit Oberammergau, you will also have two overnight stays in the pretty Bavarian village of Oberammergau where you will enjoy an unforgettable performance of the Passion Play. The dramatic religious enactment depicts the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and features over 2500 performers, musicians and designers - all local Oberammergau people.
There is so much more to this region than just its once-a-decade Passion Play theatrics. Located in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, the area is an ideal choice for active getaways such as hiking, climbing or biking holidays, allowing visitors to experience Bavaria's unspoilt beauty.
For the Sunday performances we offer a two night package.
You arrive on saturday. The package begins with dinner in the place of your accommodation.
In the morning of the day of your performance you are free to do as you wish. Use the time for a leisurely stroll through the village of Oberammergau or visit the Linderhof Castle of King Ludwig II.
Lunch will be served in Oberammergau before the play begins and
dinner during the interval. You will leave the next day after breakfast.
